Vasallen AB is a property company owned by the Kingdom of Sweden. The company was formed to develop and improve former defence properties, in cooperation with municipalities and local business interests, prior to ultimate divestment on commercial terms.
The total property portfolio comprises 450.000 sqm of premises floor space and with a land area of 370 ha. The total of re-used areas amounts to ~65%.
Future tasks are to develop innovative transformations of former military areas into new, vital and exciting urban districts, to offer work places in the form of offices and other operations – for example education – integrated with permanent residential accommodation and various forms of service facilities.
That's why particpipation in CONVERNET foloows our commercial interest in conversion and active interest in exchange of experiences and knowledge within the area of conversion with other parties in the Baltic Region. We are interested to find the best practice and to participate in an active conversion network.
