For more than three years, the network CONVERNET has been supported by the INTERREG III B programme for the Baltic Sea Region and the Brandenburg State Ministry of Economics. By this support and the activity of 21 partners from all over the Baltic Sea Region it was possible to establish a living network and to come up with a first assessment of conversion management in the Baltic Sea Region. Contacts have been established to other existing networks and conversion guidelines have been formulated as policy recommendations.
